I love fish and fishing though, I don't get to do it that often. I recently designed a logo for a client's fishing business. I decided I needed to paint a series of fish. I did this one as an experimental painting using mostly paint markers. I love the bold color and line work. Hope you love it too.

Greensboro based artist, John Gibbs, has been painting since early 2000. While working in Chicago as an Art Director he began painting as a more personal creative outlet. His work is still influenced by his work in computer graphics and commercial art. John’s work has been seeking a balance between representation and abstraction or ambiguity. John draws inspiration from landscapes, people, animals, and things.
